“… This is MY Innnfieee, this is YOUR Innnfieee …”

Well, as they say, nothing better than starting off with the anthem … After 5 months of having a roller-coaster ride in this mini-city called Infy MY-DC (Mysore Development Centre, where I underwent my training) and listening to this song atleast a dozen times, I was really tempted to write a story about the experiences faced by a trainee in this place.

But before I begin, a small note which you all would have seen a lot of times already

All characters appearing in this story are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

This is the story of Abhishek, a fresher from an engineering college in Bangalore, who gets placed in Infosys. The story revolves around the various situations he faces during his training in Mysore, the new people he meets, the different confusions in his mind, the highs and lows that come in his life as he battles through these 5 months of rigorous training, and how he finally realizes the meaning of the phrase Infy is built on.

At this juncture, I take the opportunity to express my gratitude to all those people who inspired me to write this story. I would like to thank all my trainee friends and colleagues from Infy, who made my life a lot more better by just being there at all times … I also thank my family for all the lessons they have taught me, and for bearing with my idiosyncracies all this while …and lastly, I would like to thank YOU, each one of you reading this, for showing interest and coming to my world… I hope you all will like my work

Finally, the one phrase that has got me going ever since I heard it for the first time…
